The city is hosting a free outdoor playoff hockey watch party on Friday night, for Game 2 of the Canucks-Oilers series.
The City of Campbell River will have an 85-inch screen set up in the courtyard between the Tidemark Theatre and the library on Friday night to stream the game, live. The game starts at 7 pm on Friday, viewers are welcome to show up for 6:30 pre-game coverage.
Game 3 will also be broadcast live on Sunday in the same location, that one starts at 6:30 pm, with the pre-game show at 6.
Both events are free and family-friendly, all are invited to bring lawn chairs and join in the fun.
Game 1 of the Vancouver-Edmonton series starts tonight.
