Starting today, you can register for summer programs in Campbell River.
The city has announced this year’s summer recreation guide is available to the public, covering programs and events from June to August.
These include kite flying day, loop day, salsa lessons in the square, yoga in the park, mask making workshop, and blues night.
Along with swimming lessons, outdoor pool birthday parties, and after-school programs for families, the City also says there will be themed summer camps, lunch in the square, and the river concert series.
They say for the Centennial Outdoor Pool, admission is free for youth all summer.
In terms of registering, you can do it in-person either at the Community Centre or Sportsplex, on the phone by calling 250-286-1161, or online at the City’s website.
