Halloween is just a few days away, and some are putting the final touches on their costumes.
Now as fun as trick-or-treating can be, it’s important to remember to be safe and take caution out on the streets when kids are collecting their candy.
RCMP Constable Don Sinclair has a few tips for trick-or-treaters to remain visible during Saturday night’s festivities.
Sinclair says another thing to remember is to stay on the sidewalk and to avoid going near animals while wearing costumes.
He adds parents should have a plan of where they’re going to go to ensure trick-or-treaters get back home safe and sound after a night of fun.
