The City of Campbell River has a bylaw covering the discharge of fireworks for this coming Halloween night.
Fire Chief Ian Baikie says fireworks are only sold outside our community, and anyone discharging fireworks must have a permit from the fire department two weeks in advanced.
Baikie adds on Saturday night, a firework display will be put on by the fire department auxiliary at the number two station on 261 Larwood Road.
