Since the fun of Halloween is over, it’s time to get rid of your pumpkins. And in Campbell River, there’s a unique way to do that.
The compost education centre is hosting their 9th annual pumpkin smash events on November 7 and 8.
Spokesperson Koreen Gurak says it’s a great way to get rid of your pumpkins.
The Pumpkin Smash takes place at the Strathcona Gardens recreational complex. The event runs from 11 to 3 p.m.
