The Skyhawks are coming, and they’ll be parachuting into Willow Point Park Monday for lunch.
The Skyhawks are part of the Canadian Armed Forces, and are Canada’s only military parachute demonstration team. It has 13 members from the army, navy, and air force who will be skydiving above Campbell River. While in the air, the team will perform daring maneuvres that require a high level of skill, teamwork, and physical fitness.
After landing, the team will be on hand to sign autographs, take pictures, and talk with the public.
The entire community is invited to come watch, the Skyhawks will be dropping into Willow Point Park at 12:30 pm. Spectators are invited to come early, bring chairs, and enjoy the show.
