Celebration for the Extreme Weather Shelter

Yesterday, the community of Campbell River blessed and celebrated the newly renovated extreme-weather shelter.

The shelter, which was sold to the city for $1 this past month has been renovated with the help from the City of Campbell River and will now be ready for the cold weather ahead.
Councillor Ron Kerr was extremely happy to see everyone out for the celebration.

The shelter is still in need of funds to operate it from November to March, so if there is anyone who would like to help out, contact Paul Mason at Campbell River Family Services.

The shelter is now located on the Radiant Life Church property.
