Downtown businesses in Campbell River are joining forces with the annual Big Truck Parade for a full weekend of celebration in November.
The Downtown Business Improvement Association’s annual Big Truck Parade, featuring trucks decked out in lights by local businesses, has become a popular Campbell River tradition, says Jan Wade, the BIA’s executive director.
This year they are timing the parade to coincide with Deck the Downtown and Starlight Shopping, which will showcase downtown shops, restaurants, and hotels on Friday and Saturday, wrapping up with a pancake breakfast on Sunday.
Wade says they are hoping the three-day event will attract visitors from all over Vancouver Island. It starts on November 29, we will have more details closer to the event.
