Santa will still be coming to Holly Hills Farm this year, for the annual Christmas Stable event.
Farm owner Katie Denne says she’s been overwhelmed by the amount of support she’s received from the community since the farm had to euthanize 50 chickens and ducks last month. The H5N1 virus was detected in her flock, likely spread from a wild source.
She says it was a heartbreaking event but she has since received messages of support over social media and in person, and she’s grateful for the community’s support.
She is now planning the annual Christmas Stable event, which will feature the farm’s baby bunnies, alpacas, goats, sheep and more, along with a chance for pictures with Santa.
Visit the farm’s website for more details, and to book a time for photos with Santa.
