Campbell River RCMP are seeking a suspect following a stabbing incident near the local McDonald’s.
According to Constable Maury Tyre, the stabbing happened at 1:30 p.m. Saturday afternoon, leaving a 42-year-old man with serious injuries near the McDonald’s.
The man was treated in hospital, with police now looking for a suspect.
They believe the suspect and victim were known to each other.
As of now, there is no general danger to the public.
