We’re halfway through the River’s Stuff the Truck campaign to fill a semi-trailer full of food for the Campbell River Food Bank.
So far, several local businesses have stepped up to purchase pallets full of food and other much-needed goods to keep the food bank supplied through the winter season, and in light of growing need in the community.
The fundraiser, sponsored by Save-On Foods and Adams Tarp and Tool, runs all this week and anyone who wants to help out can visit Save-On to purchase pre-made packages to donate, or do their own shopping.
Businesses can purchase pallets from Save-On full of pre-selected high-need items, they are $500 each.
Stay tuned to the River all this week for more information about how you can help out.
