Another public safety notice has been issued for Elk Falls Canyon.
In a social media post, the City of Campbell River says BC Hydro issued a public safety notice asking residents to stay away from Elk Falls Canyon and the Campbell River because of high flows.
Along with being high, they say the flows can be dangerous and increase quickly.
This notice comes after Hydro issued an earlier notice about increased flows last week. That notice lasts until January 2 next year.
Temporary safety signs have been posted in the areas, with this notice in effect from January 1 to February 15 next year.
