Heat wave breaking records

It was not just hot over the weekend, it was blazing with the Comox Valley and Campbell River both setting temperature records on Sunday.

Allan Coldwell is a meteorologist with Environment Canada and has the numbers.

We may have actually set another record on Monday, as temeratures were predicted to hit near 30 degrees. The record for that day is 29.4 degrees from 1954.

However, Coldwell says we should start to see things cool down by Wednesday.
