The Strathcona Regional District needs your thoughts on a draft transportation plan in a new survey.
The district has announced the release of their draft Active Transportation Network plan, an initiative that aims to improve transportation conditions on Quadra Island through projects, removing/lowering barriers, and advancing connectivity for those walking, cycling, and wheeling in the community.
They say the plan is for Electoral Area C and includes visions and goals for a long-term transportation network, a long-term network map, priority corridors and projects, priority spots and projects, funding, and partnership opportunities.
As part of this release, district staff have put up a survey for you to leave feedback on the draft, with the results to be used to refine the plan.
They say you can find the survey online or in-person at Tru Value Foods in either Quathiaski Cove or Heriot Bay.
You have until the end of January to finish the survey.
