Restorative Justice Week

Campbell River is joining the nation in making November 15-22 Restorative Justice Week.

Spokesperson Kristine Atkinson says restorative justice is a program that emphasizes repairing the harm caused by conflict and crime.

 
Restorative justice is known to provide victims with an opportunity to tell their story and find answers to their questions.

Atkinson says there is plenty information available to anyone who wants it.

 
During this week, the City of Campbell River hopes to enhance awareness of restorative justice.
