Next week the Tidemark Theatre will be highlighting local artists as part of the Campbell River Festival of Film.
The Locals Showcase is February 11 and features ten films made by local filmmakers, including Carihi students.
Campbell River’s own Suzanne Jolly is coordinating the event. Her newest documentary, “A Wilder Way,” will be part of the lineup.
She credits the Campbell River Festival of Film for helping start her filmmaking journey says the showcase is a great chance for filmmakers to meet their audiences.
She says the event will help raise funds for a bursary for local high school grads pursuing further education in multi-media.
Visit the Tidemark Theatre’s website for tickets, they are $15 each.
