Hilchey Road is closed for one more day today between South Alder Street and Palmer Road, while crews work on installing new traffic lights.
The road has been closed since Wednesday while crews do underground work in the road. After 5 pm today it will be open again to regular traffic.
The first round of construction will continue for approximately the next three weeks on weekdays, between 7 am and 7 pm. Once the project is finished, there will be a new left-turn arrow for traffic heading southbound on Alder Street.
Minor traffic delays can still be expected, and drivers are asked to follow all traffic controls in place.
