B.C. Conservative Party leader Dan Brooks was in Campbell River Monday as a part of his Vancouver Island tour.
Brooks has been the leader for two years now and is currently travelling around the province talking to business leaders and members of the community.
He says the number one topic brought up is about BC Ferries, and adds the conservative party is looking at proper solutions.
Brooks says if BC Ferries is just looking at being profitable, then they’re missing the purpose. It does affect the economy, and the province has to make sure BC Ferries are an economy driver as well.
