Campbell Riverites spotted some big military boats and coast guard boats in the waters off Campbell River Thursday afternoon.
Turns out the Campbell River Coast Guard teams were practicing procedures with Military personnel.
A representative from the Joint Rescue Co-ordination Centre in Victoria says the Campbell River team was working with the 442 Rescue Squadron from the Comox Military Base.
