Two recent incidents where young people in Campbell River were followed by cougars has some people wondering if there are more of the cats around this year.
Likely not says local conservation officer Gord Gudbranson.
Gudbranson says they have no updates from either the Rockland Rd. or Peterson Rd. areas where the cougars followed two different young men. He asks anyone who does see a cougar in those areas to call the conservation service.
