CR Live Streets returns Canada Day, featuring Trooper

The City of Campbell River has released the 2026 schedule for CR Live Streets, a free all-ages street event series, with the first event scheduled for Canada Day.

Events take place on Wednesday evenings along Shoppers Row in downtown Campbell River and feature a variety of music and art.

According to the city, the 2026 season runs from July 8 to Aug. 19.

“CR Live Streets has become one of the signature ways our community comes together each summer,” Mayor Kermit Dahl said. “It’s free, welcoming, and family-friendly, and it turns downtown into a place to connect — with great music, local experiences, and one another.”

The schedule includes:

  • July 1 — Canada Day, featuring Trooper
  • July 8 — Reggae in the River, featuring Wesli
  • July 15 — Local Line Up, featuring Time Well Wasted and Quadra Sound
  • July 22 — Bow and Bass, featuring Kytami and Phonik Ops
  • July 29 — Swinging Blues, featuring Blue Moon Marquee
  • Aug. 5 — River City Street Fest
  • Aug. 12 — Rockin’ River, featuring Mitch Zorn
  • Aug. 19 — CR Live Streets Finale, featuring Yukon Blonde

The city said CR Live Streets is presented in partnership with the Tidemark Theatre Society and is an award-winning event series.

“Each event features live music, along with art, food and beverages available for purchase, and a free bike valet, making it easy to enjoy downtown all summer long.”
