Still no concrete plan for a seniors center

The Campbell River seniors center society might be one step closer to getting a permanent home, city staff have just released a report saying they are looking into lease or rental options at three downtown properties.

One at 920 Alder street and the other two in the Campbell River Common Mall.

The  report says members of the society have made it clear they need to have a commercial grade kitchen, dining area, a room large enough for physical or social activities and easy access in the downtown core.

City staff are planning to update city councillors in August with the costs of the lease options and renovations that might be needed.
