SRD seeks public input on emergency risks

The Strathcona Regional District is asking residents to help identify local emergency risks.

The regional district is updating its Hazard, Risk and Vulnerability Analysis for Campbell River, Cortes Island, Gold River, Sayward, Tahsis and Zeballos.

Residents are invited to attend drop-in sessions and workshops throughout the summer or complete an online survey.

The feedback will help identify local hazards and guide future emergency preparedness and risk reduction efforts.

The survey is open until Oct. 9.
