The City of Campbell River says its Erickson Road renewal project will require changes to an intersection next week.
Harrogate Road will be closed between Larwood Road and Erickson Road from Aug. 17 to Aug. 21. The city says only residents and emergency services will have access to the area during the closure.
No turns will be permitted between Harrogate Road and Erickson Road during the closure.
Erickson Road will remain open to single-lane alternating traffic.
“Please plan ahead, allow extra travel time, and follow all posted signage and traffic control personnel,” said the city. “We appreciate your patience while this work is completed.”
The Erickson Road renewal project began in spring and includes upgrades to water and stormwater infrastructure. The project is supported by the federal government’s Canada Community-Building Fund.
