B.C. Hydro said the intersection of Dogwood Street and 16th Avenue will be closed from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sept. 3 while crews complete paving work.
The work will take place along 16th Avenue from Dogwood Street to Roberts’ Reach Road and follows the installation of new underground electrical infrastructure.
“BC Hydro recognizes this is a busy intersection and that the work will cause temporary inconvenience for residents, commuters and local businesses,” said a B.C. Hydro release.
Drivers are encouraged to use caution, follow detour signs and expect delays.
Sidewalks will remain open for pedestrians and cyclists, but cyclists will be required to dismount.
