Months-long Spruce Street closure begins Sept. 21

Spruce Street in Campbell River will be closed between 19th Avenue and Island Highway 19A starting Monday.

The City of Campbell River said the closure will remain in place until late December for work on the Campbellton Sewer System Upgrades project.

Pedestrian, resident and emergency access will be maintained, but parking will not be available on Spruce Street.

The City said Redwood Street will also be periodically closed this fall, with single-lane alternating traffic on Spruce Street during those closures.
