A series of election debates is being held in Campbell River ahead of the municipal and provincial elections.

The Campbell River and District Chamber of Commerce, Campbell River Mirror and Tidemark Theatre Society are co-hosting the debates.

The first is Thursday for Strathcona Regional District candidates, followed by school board candidates Sunday and mayoral candidates Monday.

Campbell River council candidates will debate over three nights, Oct. 6, 7 and 8. The MLA debate is scheduled for Oct. 16.

The debates are being held at Tidemark Theatre and livestreamed. Most run from 7 to 9 p.m., while the Oct. 8 debate runs from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m.
