Sunday night around 6:30 p.m., Campbell River fire crews responded to a house fire on Pengelly Road.
Fire Chief Ian Baikie says upon arrival, the house was full of smoke with the fire burning in the living room.
Baikie says luckily no injuries were reported. The last person to leave the house was at one o’clock that afternoon.
