Low river flows could be very bad for spawning fish

Some major concerns now from the Department of Fisheries and Oceans on the impacts of low river flows and warm water temperatures for various fall fisheries.
Andrew Thompson with the DFO says they are definitely expecting some fall out from record low water flows on Vancouver Island.
 
Thompson says officials are in the process of assessing conditions in various river systems on the Island including some in and around Campbell River and the Comox Valley.
