Campbell River fire crews were called out to a house fire on Greenwood Street around 5 o’clock on Sunday.
Fire Chief Ian Baikie says the fire originated in the bedroom on the front side of the home, and when crews arrived, fire was coming out of that window.
Baikie says five emergency vehicles were on scene along with 25 firefighters.
He adds it still isn’t clear if the home was covered by insurance, but all four residents of the house were displaced in an emergency social services program for a few days.
