Conservation Officers Looking for Information on Illegal Elk Kills

Conservation Officers are hoping someone can help solve the case of two illegally killed elk.

Conservation Officer Jon Paquin says the first incident happened on the morning of January 10th.

He says a large bull elk was killed in a cut block off the Duncan Bay Main between Forbidden Plateau Road and Strathcona Parkway.

Paquin says the Roosevelt Elk hunt is highly regulated and it’s also concerning that the animals were left after being killed.
