$20,000 to conduct an age-friendly assessment in the city

Campbell River received a $20,000 grant from the BC Ministry of Health to conduct an age-friendly assessment.

Recreation and Culture Supervisor Michele Sirett says the assessment will involve surveys and focus groups to develop an age friendly action plan.

 

Sirett says they also want to have anybody on the committee that wants to make sure the community is accessible to everyone who lives in the city.
The deadline to apply is February 9.
