The Campbell River Community Foundation is now accepting applications for its 2016 grant process.
Chair of the Community Foundation Board Mary Ashley says they welcome all the non profit organizations in the city to apply if they have a project they are interesting in pursuing.
Ashley says their mandate it to raise funds through donors, and activities to put into a permanent endowment, which is getting close to two-million dollars. She adds every year they use the interest of the invested endowment to give out grants to non profits.
Applications are being accepted until March 18.
