Campbell River’s Deputy City Manager has been honoured by the Local Government Management Association of BC.
Ron Neufeld has been presented with the Excellence in Leadership award.
City Manager Deborah Sargent says good leadership is key to ensuring smooth operations at the city. She notes at the local government level, it’s very important to recognize that.
She says Neufeld is an excellent example of good leadership.
Sargent says Neufeld has been a champion in some of the city’s most recent projects.
Neufeld was presented with the award at council this week.
