Salvation Army pushing for donations ahead of close of Kettle Campaign

The Salvation Army needs your help. The organization’s annual Christmas kettle drive comes to an end tomorrow.

Here in Campbell River it’s a little short of its target. Lieutenant Violet Hopkins says she’s hoping people will help them make up that gap:

All the money raised by the Salvation Army in Campbell River stays in Campbell River. Hopkins says the donations help fund the Lighthouse Centre on Cedar Street:

So far the Salvation Army has collected around $60,000 in donations. Its goal is to raise $90,000.
