A Quadra Island artist’s work is getting some nation-wide exposure.
Kevin Johnson’s painting Untold Stories – Arctic Wolf is being featured alongside some of Canada’s most prestigious nature artists in Ducks Unlimited Canada’s 2018 National Art Portfolio.
Untold Stories – Arctic Wolf is one of just 11 pieces selected from hundreds of submissions.
His piece is inspired by the west coast and in it Johnson strives to convey his deep appreciation for the beauty of the natural world.
The selected paintings are made into high-quality prints that DUC uses for fundraisers to support its wetland conservation work and scientific research and education programs.
