Campbellton Neighbourhood Association gets park proposal approved

CAMPBELL RIVER, B.C.-A new “pocket park” is coming to Spruce Street. City council approved the Campbellton Neighbourhood Association’s proposal for the greenspace at Monday’s meeting.

It’s going to be built at the end of the street. The association is looking to make a naturally-landscaped, accessible seating and river viewing area.

It’ll be built in the spring. The park is being paid for with a $15,000 FortisBC grant and matching funding from the City of Campbell River.
