COLWOOD, B.C.-The Campbell River Storm emerged from the den victorious.
They beat the Westshore Wolves 5-2 in Colwood in Game 2 last night. That gives the Storm a two games to none lead in their second round series of the VIJHL playoffs.
Reid Wheeldon led the way for the Storm as he put up a pair of goals. Wheeldon has been on a tear in the playoffs. He’s winning nearly 60% of his draws and is averaging a point a game while making big contributions in killing penalties.
The Storm get back at it tonight on home ice for Game 3. The puck drops at the Rod Brind’Amour Arena at 7:30pm.
