CAMPBELL RIVER, B.C.- No one was hurt in a house fire just south of Campbell River. It broke out this morning on Chantrelle Way off York Road.
Both the Campbell River and Oyster River fire departments responded, as did the BC Ambulance Service. The Oyster River Fire Department says the blaze was contained to one room in the basement of the house.
Although it was contained there is smoke and heat damage throughout the house. Reports say the fire started in a wood stove.
