CAMPBELL RIVER, B.C – Police were called to a park in Campbell River yesterday after body was found by a citizen.
According to Cpl. Ron Vlooswyk, media spokesperson for the Campbell River RCMP, a person “picking blackberries” discovered the body of a 58 year old man in Nunns Creek Park near Walmart around 9:45 on Thursday.
Vlooswyk could not confirm the cause of death, however he said RCMP are not considering it suspicious.
The case is now under coroners investigation.
