UPDATE: BC Ferries cancelled the 1:00 p.m. sailing from Quadra Island to Campbell River, as well as the 1:30 p.m. sailing from Campbell River.
CAMPBELL RIVER, B.C. – Two morning sailings on the Campbell River – Quadra Island route have been cancelled.
BC Ferries posted that the 10:00 a.m. sailing from Quathiaski Cove is cancelled, as well as the 10:30 a.m. sailing from Campbell River.
The service said the trip cancellations are due to issues with the Powell River Queen‘s engine.
There is no word yet on if later sailings will be cancelled as well, but we will provide updates as information becomes available.
