Early this morning, a roof fire caused extensive damage to a home on the 3900 block of the South Island Highway.
Deputy Fire Chief Chris Vrabel says that crews responded to the scene at around 12:31, and when they arrived, the roof was engulfed in flames.
Vrabel goes on to say that there were 4 occupants in the home.
They’re currently receiving shelter through the local Emergency Social Services agency.
The cause of the blaze is currently under investigation.
