BC Ferries says The Powell River Queen will be temporarily removed from service this weekend for regular maintenance.
The Bowen Queen will be taking its place on the Quathiaski Cove-Campbell River route.
Spokesperson Deborah Marshall says the switch shouldn’t affect customers too much, but she says you will notice a few small changes.
“During that time the schedule will be the same but we just want to give customers a heads up that The Bowen Queen has limited overheight space so there might be some overloads on occasion with overload vehicles,” said Marshall.
The Bowen Queen will replace The Powell River Queen from November 3rd to November 16th.
The two-vessels will swap for the 3:05pm sailing between Quadra Island and Campbell River.
