Mainroad North Island Contracting is completing some road work near Campbell River.
Drivers can expect delays as crews will be performing barrier removal and installation on Hwy. 19 at Elk Canyon Hill, north of the Sayward Junction.
Work will take place every weekday from 8:00am until 5:00pm starting tomorrow and will continue through to Friday.
The road will be reduced to single lane alternating traffic.
During this time, up to 20-minute delays are expected.
Over on Quadra Island, crews are continuing to perform shoulder improvements on Heriot Bay Road between Rebecca Spit Road and West Road.
Work began last Monday and is set to finish this coming Friday.
Crews will once again be on-site weekdays from 9:00am until 3:00pm, with expected delays up to 20-minutes as the road will be down to a single lane.
Mainroad is thanking drivers in advance for slowing down, obeying traffic control and watching for roadside workers.
