Police are looking for information about an early-morning stabbing today which left one man seriously injured.
Police were called to the corner of 13th Avenue and Dogwood Street at around 4:30 am Thursday morning. On arrival they found a 31-year-old man with multiple stab wounds. He was taken to hospital with serious injuries, but is expected to survive.
Police identified several people at the scene who were uncooperative with the investigation, and the victim did not provide further details. Police believe the victim and suspect likely know each other, and do not believe there is an ongoing risk to the public.
However, they are asking anyone who witnessed the incident or has any information that could help the investigation to call the Campbell River RCMP’s non-emergency line at 250-286-6221, reference file # 2024-11402.
