The warming centre in Campbell River is open for another night tonight.
The City says it’s because of the low overnight temperatures in the forecast, with tonight’s low set at zero degrees.
The centre will open for short-term stays, with pets on leashes, bikes, carts, and other belongings allowed.
There are no beds available, but you will get hot drinks, snacks, and seating.
The centre opens at Campbell River Community Centre at 10:00 p.m. and will stay open until 7:00 a.m. Tuesday.
