Access to the Hoskyn Channel Landing dock will be restricted while it is replaced.
In a notice for Area C, the Strathcona Regional District says crews will be replacing the dock and ramp at the Landing with newer ones to provide more moorage space and a safer facility for users.
A contractor told the district that the work could start as early as mid-March, with the work to last three days.
Because of this, use of the dock and access to or from the shore will be restricted.
While you might be able to use the site for beach landings, the district recommends using Heriot Bay and Granite Bay for alternate access and to move your car to another location ahead of time.
