The Campbell River Fire Department and the RCMP responded to a structure fire near the intersection of seventh and Dogwood Street yesterday morning.
Deputy Fire Chief Thomas Doherty says there were no injuries as a result of the fire, but there were six occupants of the building who were transported to hospital for observation.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation, and Doherty wants to remind the public to avoid driving over the crew’s fire hoses.
