Christmas Light Bike Ride

🎄🚲Everyone Welcome for the 5th Annual Christmas Light Ride!🎄🚲 Light up your bike and meet at Frank James Park (across from Willow Point Tim Hortons). The parade of lights will be led by River Cycle Club. The family ride will go along the sea walk to Hidden Harbour back to Tim Hortons for hot chocolate. **All kids must be accompanied by an adult**

Join us in our lighted garden for an evening of reflection in honour of all loved ones who have passed. You can light a lantern in the name of a loved one, take part in the outdoor fire bowl gathering with a Hospice Counsellor or just relax by our indoor fireplace and enjoy the music of local harpist Marie Harman. Complimentary hot chocolate will be available. Please come dressed for the weather.

Don't chuck it! Chip it! The Campbell River Fire Fighters are going to be set up at the Sportsplex lower parking lot on Saturday, January 4th from 10am-4pm with a drive through tree chipping event. You don't even need to get out of your vehicle! Just pull up, the volunteers will remove the tree, you make a donation , and get on your way! April 2, and The first Tuesday of every month, the Elders group at WeiWaiKum (the Campbell River Indian Band) holds a Bingo fundraiser at the Thunderbird hall to raise money for Elders travel and recreational activities. Everyone is welcome, there are door prizes, 50/50 draw, and there is always a concession with great food. So mark the first Tuesday of every month to come to BINGO! Doors open at 4:30, Bingo starts at 6.

The Campbell River Badminton Club will be hosting its annual badminton tournament on Friday January 10 to Sunday January 12 at the Sportsplex. The event is open to spectators and is free of charge. Play on Friday is from 6 pm to midnight, Saturday from 9 am to 6 pm, and Sunday 9 am to 3 pm. There are 93 participants in the tournament from all over BC there will be some really great play!!!!!!!!!
