The Recreation and Culture Department is partnering with the Downtown BIA during the Big Truck Parade to offer some fun activities for families to participate in. You can have a chance to show off your gingerbread decorating skills at our second annual Gingerbread House Competition. Entries are not limited to the structure of a house. April 2, and The first Tuesday of every month, the Elders group at WeiWaiKum (the Campbell River Indian Band) holds a Bingo fundraiser at the Thunderbird hall to raise money for Elders travel and recreational activities. Everyone is welcome, there are door prizes, 50/50 draw, and there is always a concession with great food. So mark the first Tuesday of every month to come to BINGO! Doors open at 4:30, Bingo starts at 6.
