2017 will see a lot of work on the plans to refresh Strathcona Gardens.
The Recreate Project will upgrade existing facilities at Strathcona Gardens, including the fitness centre, gym and swimming areas.
Commission Chair Michele Babchuk says they will be looking for feedback from the public as the project moves forward.
The Commission has also launched a new website for the project, so people can keep up to date on the progress.
